Dedication & Our Love Story
For our families, who taught us how to make room at the table. For the friends who became family. And for every ordinary Tuesday that brought us here. With all our love, Ava & Jack.
It began in a Raleigh bookshop on a rainy Tuesday. We both reached for the same novel; Jack let me have it, then asked to hear the ending over coffee. Six years, two apartments, and one very spoiled dog later, we're still finding reasons to linger a little longer. The best part has never been the big moments. It's how we make each other laugh on the hard days, and how being together feels like coming home.

Meet the Bride & Meet the Groom
Ava has always been the one who remembers everyone's coffee order, brings an extra chair to the table, and laughs first at her own jokes. On the wedding morning, she read her vows twice and cried both times.
Jack kept the book from the day they met. He still writes notes in its margins. On the day he married Ava, he had one more note ready, folded into the pocket of his jacket.
The little moments became everything.

At sunrise on the dunes, Jack pulled that old book from his coat. Tucked between its pages was a note: ‘I liked the ending better when it was us.’ He asked. Ava laughed, cried, and said yes before he finished the question.
